I'm Carrie, founder of Rose&Thorns. My love for Floristry started at the age of just 14! After just one week of my schools work experience program in our local flower shop back in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire I was hooked. I knew floristry was the one for me and so straight after school I got an apprenticeship and completed a level 3 diploma in work based floristry.

At the end of 2019 after 7 years of full time working in the industry across a number of busy Cambridge shops, I felt it was finally time to launch on my own and so Rose&Thorns was born. At the end of Summer 2021 after months of no weddings thanks to COVID we saw a massive influx of wedding and event bookings and decided to stop offering everyday flowers and focus solely on this side of floristry.

My passion for all things flowers has only grown stronger over the years and so you can be sure I will be putting 110% into all of the pieces I make.
